Trajva Earrings

Inspired by Trajva, a traditional form of indigenous body art practiced by tribal communities of Gujarat, the Trajva Earrings transform a deeply personal memory into sculptural adornment.

The inspiration began with the Trajva symbols seen on the designer’s grandmother’s wrist and neck—markings that sparked a curiosity about the stories and meanings carried through these traditional tattoos.

Each earring is sculpted as a three-dimensional half flower, with every petal embossed with a different Trajva-inspired motif. Each symbol carries its own meaning, bringing together multiple stories within a single form. Delicate mirror detailing adds a subtle reflective element to the design.

Designed to be worn two ways, the earrings offer a different expression with every turn. Wear them with the embossed Trajva motifs facing forward for a bold, sculptural look, or reverse them to reveal an intricate jali-cut pattern for an entirely different silhouette.
